Discounts

AMBEST Fuel Discounts
Transport Investments now has a cost-plus discount arrangement with AMBEST, a nationwide chain fo 128 independently-owned truck stops. Under this arrangement, your price is based on what the AMBEST truck stop pays + a small markup of just a few cents per gallon. In some cases the discount will be minimal, and could even be the same as the posted price. However, sometimes this will amount to a discount of more than 20 cents from the posted pump price! Note that the discount will not show on your fuel slip. If you check your card balance before and after your fuel, you may be amazed at how much you saved. As with our other discounts, you must use a company-assigned Comcard or EFS card to obtain the discount.

Other Fuel Discounts
Transport Investments contractors enjoy fuel discounts at 4 major chains when using our Comcard or EFS card.

• Love's – You will receive 5 cents per gallon off the posted pump price at all locations.
• Petro – You will enjoy a 3 cents per gallon discount at all Petro locations except Gaston, IN; Greensburg, IN; and Remington, IN; which are 2 cents.
• Sapp Bros Truck Stops – You will receive 3 cents per gallon off the posted pump price wen using your Comdata or EFS card.
• Pilot – Our Pilot discount is in the form of Reward points on your Pilot Driver Payback card. The number of points earned is based on the quantity of gallons you purchase:

  • 0-74 gallons:	0 Points
    75-99 gallons:	2 Points for every gallon purchased
    100-174 gallons:	4 Points for every gallon purchased
    175+ gallons:	6 Points for every gallon purchased

Hotel Discounts
Transport Investment contractors and employees enjoy a discount with the Choice Hotels group. Choice operates more than 5,000 mid-priced hotels, under these brands:

Using our corporate ID 00710815, TII personnel enjoy a 5-10% discount off the standard rates. You can reserve a room by going directly to the hotel; by calling Central Reservations at (800) 424-6423; or via their website, www.choicehotels.com, and entering our ID number into the "Enter Your Special Rate ID" link on the left side of the page.

At Choice, OLDER IS BETTER. Mature TII travelers get an even bigger discount. Those in the 50+ age group get a 10% discount, and those in the 60+ age group receive 20% off! Make sure to ask for the "Mature Traveler" discount when booking.

Finally, don’t forget to join the Choice Rewards Program, which allows you to earn free stays quickly. You can enroll online, or ask for an enrollment form at any of their hotels.

Tire Discounts

TCI TIRES- 101 locations in 26 states

We have partnered with TCI Tires (www.tirecenters.com) for discounted tire prices and set fees for tire services: mounting and dismounting, $25; Emergency road call service (all inclusive), $60 during business hours and $80 after hours; and flat repair, $30.  Simply present your Transport Investments card, attached, to qualify for these discounts. This is NOT a credit account- you must pay at the time of purchase.  You may pay for your tires and service by any method- cash, comcheck, Comcard, credit card, EFS check, etc.  You will also receive a guaranteed $35 casing credit for most tire sizes if the tire is recappable.  

Note- there are occasions when a branch may be running a special on a particular tire or tire size, so it’s a good idea to ask for their price first, THEN present your discount card, and go with the lower price. 

MICHELIN TIRES at TCI

We have also partnered with Michelin and TCI to give you some significant discounts on purchases at any TCI location.  After getting a price on the tire of your choice, tell them you’d like to know what the price is using the Transport Investments discount plan, and give them our “SHIP-TO NUMBER- 1290123.  You’ll be surprised at how much lower your new price will be.   You won’t find a better deal.   Unfortunately, you must use a credit card to pay for your Michelin purchase.  You can use any credit card, but they will not accept cash, debit card, checks, Comchecks, Comcards, or EFS cards for the purchase of Michelin tires.  (They will accept other forms of payment for other tire brands, as outlined above.)
