Company Background
Greentree Transportation Company is licensed by the Federal Highway Administration as a common and contract carrier with authority to transport general commodities within the United States. In addition, the company has authority to operate within some of the provinces of Canada. Greentree was formed in October 1981 as a contract carrier by and for L. B. Foster Company, a steel fabricator. In 1983 Greentree applied for and was granted a 48-state general commodities common carrier certificate from the Interstate Commerce Commission. Greentree is primarily a flatbed, heavyhaul and specialized operation with a fleet of over 224 active units and a network of approximately 100 terminals. Greentree's adjusted gross revenue was approximately $41.8 million for fiscal 2006. Its brokerage and logistics subsidiary, Greentree Logistics, Inc. had 2006 adjusted gross revenue of approximately $2.7 million. Projected revenue in 2007 is $42.0 million and $2.7 million respectively.
